If you are moving to Waukegan mid-school year and are interested in attending Cooke Magnet School, please contact the school's main office at 224-303-1700. Some classes are already filled for the 2026-2027 school year so please know that spaces mid-year are limited.
Waukegan’s Cooke Magnet School has begun accepting applications for entrance testing for the 2026-2027 school year for students entering kindergarten through grade 5. Limited enrollment opportunities are available for students entering grades 1-5.  Students already enrolled at Cooke do not need to reapply.
